Personal data
Privacy policy for public pages
This policy applies to the public, static pages of AdopteunTO.com. It does not describe the detailed internal operation of the logged-in area or professional B2B access.
1. Purpose and scope
This policy describes personal-data processing relating to the public pages of AdopteunTO.com. It covers in particular browsing the pages, requests sent to AdopteunTO and the use of links leading to external services.
Features reserved for registered users of the AdopteunTO application, including agency-account functions and professional B2B access, are part of the logged-in service and are not detailed in this policy for the public website.
2. Controller and contact
The controller for processing specific to AdopteunTO’s public pages is Chazil Développement, a French SAS with share capital of €10,000, registered with the Bordeaux Trade and Companies Register under number 822 931 283, with registered office at 11, allée James Watt, 33700 Mérignac, France.
For any question about data protection or to exercise your rights: contact@adopteunto.com .
No separate Data Protection Officer (DPO) is currently designated. Personal-data requests are centralised at the address above.
3. Data that may be processed on the public website
- technical data necessary to provide, operate and secure the website, including server technical logs;
- information voluntarily provided when you contact AdopteunTO;
- parameters contained in the page address, including UTM campaign parameters when a communication link contains them;
- audience data only if an audience-measurement solution is subsequently activated under the conditions described below.
4. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Data concerned | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Display, maintain and secure the public pages | Necessary technical data and server logs | Chazil Développement’s legitimate interest in operating and securing its website |
| Respond to requests sent to AdopteunTO | Contact details and content voluntarily submitted | Pre-contractual measures when requested by the individual, or legitimate interest depending on the nature of the request |
| Identify the origin of a communication campaign | Campaign parameters in the URL, without intentionally including directly identifying data | Legitimate interest, subject to the technical configuration actually used |
| Measure website audience | Audience data | To be specified when the selected tool is activated, depending on its configuration and the applicable consent regime |
5. Forms, appointments and the AdopteunTO application
Some actions offered on the website lead to separate services, including a DMC application form, an appointment-booking service, or the registration and login area of the AdopteunTO application. When users access these services, the data they enter is processed within the relevant service and according to the information presented to them at that time.
Simply displaying the public pages does not mean that data entered into these external services is collected directly by the static page itself.
6. Recipients and hosting
Data relating to the operation of the website is accessible to authorised persons at Chazil Développement and to technical service providers involved in hosting, maintenance or security, to the extent necessary for their duties.
The website is hosted by OÜ Virtuaal.com in Tallinn, Estonia, within the European Economic Area.
When a user chooses to access an external service from the website, the relevant provider may process information submitted as part of that service. Users should then refer to the privacy information provided by that provider.
7. Retention periods
Personal data is retained for a period proportionate to the purpose pursued. For processing relating to the public pages, the following rules apply:
| Category | Period / criterion |
|---|---|
| Technical and security logs | 1 year maximum. |
| Contact requests that do not lead to a commercial relationship | For the time needed to handle the request, then, where retention for professional follow-up is justified, for no more than 3 years from the last contact initiated by the individual. |
| Prospect data used for professional prospecting | 3 years from collection or the last contact initiated by the prospect. |
| Former-customer data used for prospecting | For the duration of the commercial relationship, then 3 years from its end or the last relevant contact. |
| Data needed to honour an objection to prospecting | At least 3 years, solely to ensure the objection continues to be respected. |
| Documents subject to accounting obligations | 10 years where this period results from applicable legal obligations. |
| Audience measurement | To be set when the tool is activated. If the selected configuration qualifies for the CNIL consent-exemption regime: tracker lifetime limited to 13 months and collected information retained for no more than 25 months. |
8. Cookies, trackers and audience measurement
As of this version, no optional audience-measurement solution is active on the new public pages. A Matomo-type solution is under consideration, but it will only be described in this policy after its hosting method, configuration and the data actually processed have been validated.
If an audience-measurement solution is activated, AdopteunTO will apply the consent or exemption regime corresponding to its actual configuration. Where the conditions for an exemption applicable to strictly limited audience measurement are met, the related periods and safeguards will be documented in this policy.
9. UTM parameters and visit origin
AdopteunTO may add campaign parameters, such as UTM parameters, to certain links in order to identify the origin of a visit from a newsletter, social network or other communication. These parameters must not intentionally contain a name, email address or other data that directly identifies a person.
10. Security
Chazil Développement, together with its technical service providers, implements appropriate measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Measures are adapted to the nature of the processing and the identified risks.
11. Your rights
Under the conditions provided by applicable regulations, you may request access to your data, rectification or erasure, restriction of certain processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest and, where the conditions are met, exercise your right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise your rights or ask a question about your data: contact@adopteunto.com . Proof of identity will only be requested where there is reasonable doubt as to the requester’s identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL .
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the website evolves, new tools are activated or regulations change. Any material change will be incorporated into the published version.
